I always feel strange making playlists with more that eight songs on 8tracks.
Everyone here in the Southern Hemisphere is thinking it and everyone is blogging about it, so I thought I'd jump on the spring bandwagon as well with a little mixtape to get you into feeling those spring vibes.

I've got to admit, yesterday was one of the nicest days since early Autumn. It was so mild. The sun was warm on my skin and I wanted to run around in a floral dress under the sprinkler in the backyard (I actually spent the day going to a university which was still very nice). Beautiful spring-like days after winter make me extremely happy and grateful.

I took all of the photographs tonight at sunset in my backyard. We have a couple of trees with these pretty white flowers on them that are blooming at the moment and in a few weeks the bees will come and fill the backyard with happy humming. I realised how long it's been since I actually took some nature shots. Flowers used to be all I photographed when I was about 15 because I had nothing else to photograph. I also realised that I really don't need an excuse to take photographs like these. I got a bit creative with the black and white flower photo but I really like it!

  2. Totally agree!!! Spring really feels around the corner. These pictures are wonderful, I am so obsessed with the flowering wattles at the moment, I have a thing for yellow flowers! What a great idea to share a playlist, I might do the same soon! :)

    1. There are flowering wattles in the middle of my street right now and I've been incredibly tempted to take some portraits in front of them but I live on a busy street. Wattles are some of my favourite flowers!
